ELIGIBILITY The Candidates should have

Passed the qualification of B.Sc. Nursing degree from any University accepted by INC Should have registered with Any Nursing and Midwives council in India. B.Sc. Nursing graduates should have one year experience in a teaching hospital or in a college or school of Nursing or in community health nursing field after graduation and after RNRM Registration in the nursing council. The candidate with P.B. B.Sc. nurses need not have one year of experience after graduation for admission to the M.Sc. Nursing. They can be admitted to M.Sc. Nursing soon after the graduation in any branch of study; Candidate before seeking admission shall obtain an Eligibility Certificate from University by remitting the prescribed fees along with the application form. The following shall be the Branches of study for M.Sc. (N) Degree Branch I - Medical Surgical Nursing Branch II - Child health (Pediatric) Nursing Branch III – Obstetric & Gynecological Nursing Branch IV - Community Health Nursing Branch V – Mental Health (Psychiatric) Nursing Branch VI – Cardiothoracic Nursing Branch VII – Oncology Nursing The duration of certified study for the M.Sc. Nursing degree program shall extend over period of two academic Years.   The program will commence in the month of May.   The Candidate should have 90% of Attendance in theory and 100% of attendance in the practical’s separately and should have completed all the requirements prescribed for each program of study including clinical practice before admission to examination.
